Trent Alexander-Arnold will be even more excited to leave Liverpool after what’s just happened
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s contract is up in a few week’s time, and the right-back is set to leave Liverpool.
Indeed, Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to sign for Real Madrid this summer ins what should be a very exciting move for the England international.
Alexander-Arnold wants to win the Ballon d’Or one day, and there may be no better place to do that than at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Madrid have been the dominant force in European football over the past decade, and that could be set to continue next season.
Madrid, of course, lost to Arsenal this week, and Carlo Ancelotti is set to leave Madrid in the wake of that result.
Xabi Alonso has been linked to Real Madrid, but, more interestingly, Real Madrid are keen on Jurgen Klopp, and that’s something that could have a huge bearing on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Madrid career.

Indeed, Klopp always knew how to get the best out of Alexander-Arnold., and if they are to work together at Real Madrid, Alexander-Arnold’s Ballon d’Or dream could come true.

What Trent Alexander-Arnold has said about working with Jurgen Klopp again
Alexander-Arnold and Klopp could be set to reunite in Madrid, but, interestingly, this isn’t the first time a reunion between these two has been mooted.
Indeed, Klopp was linked with the England job at one point after Gareth Southgate’s departure, and Alexander-Arnold said he’d love it if Klopp managed England.
“I would be surprised. Yeah I’d be surprised. I think it was clear when he announced he was leaving Liverpool and from the conversations I’ve had with him and what he’s doing on social media he’s enjoying his break and he felt like he needed a break from football. It would be a huge surprise if that was the case, I think we can rule that one out,” Alexander-Arnold said.
“Of course (I would be happy). I enjoyed every single minute of working with him and we created amazing memories and have an amazing bond and relationship, so if that was ever the case we would pick up where we left off.”
Meanwhile, Klopp has praised Alexander-Arnold on a number of occasions for his performances for Liverpool.
Klopp and Alexander-Arnold were a great pairing at Liverpool, and now, that could be set to continue at Real Madrid.
