Trent Alexander-Arnold says Rhys Williams was ‘world class’ in Liverpool win against Spurs
Liverpool full-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, has sung the praises of Reds youngster Rhys Williams following his performance against Spurs.
Williams made his Premier League debut against Jose Mourinho’s men and was key as, for the most part, Liverpool kept Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son relatively quiet.

The young defender has had to step up in the absence of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold Williams delivered a performance of the highest order against Kane and Son.
“Shoutout to Rhys Williams on his Premier League debut – it has to happen because he has put in a world-class performance there, barely put a foot wrong against probably the best attacking duo in the league so far,” Alexander-Arnold said.
“Shoutout to him, it was a fantastic debut and one him and his friends and family can be really proud of.”

Williams could keep his place for the weekend if Joel Matip doesn’t quite recover in time. A tricky trip to Crystal Palace awaits the Reds, who are looking to maintain their position back at the summit.
Williams looks class already, he has a big career ahead – TBR View
You have to give credit to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool for managing so well without some key players in the defence.
And you have to give credit to the likes of Williams for stepping into the fold and producing performances like he has. He is calm, assured, and looks like he’s been playing for years.
The youngster has a big future and Van Dijk around, should only get better and better.
