‘Training with the best’: Andy Lonergan posts action clip showing Alisson back from injury
Andy Lonergan has shared a video of himself, Adrian and Alisson Becker in training .
The video clip shows Alisson back in training with the Liverpool first-team after a long-term injury. Liverpool fans are loving the fact that the Brazil star has finally returned.
Alisson went into the season as the undisputed number one at Anfield. But he was injured in the opening game of the season. New recruit Adrian has had to step in during Alisson’s lay-off.

And Alisson’s injury opened the door for Lonergan. The veteran stopper was a free agent and he was training with Liverpool over the summer to help the club out. When Alisson picked up an injury, Lonergan was signed on a short-term deal.
The 35-year-old seems happy to be a part of the Liverpool squad and to work with Adrian and Alisson. : “Training with the best”, accompanied with the hashtag #alwayslearning.
TBR’s view
It will be interesting to see whether Jurgen Klopp brings Alisson straight back into the starting line-up. He has had the international break to step up his recovery and Sunday is a crucial clash against bitter rivals Manchester United.
But Adrian has done well in Alisson’s absence and he will be hoping to keep his place. However, if Alisson is 100 per cent fit, he needs to be starting this weekend.
