Tottenham’s potential team in five years’ time looks scary after Wilson Odobert, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall all sign

Tottenham are building nicely under Ange Postecoglou and after this summer, now look like being well set for the future.

Years of underwhelming signings have meant Spurs have been starved of success and despite having world-class players like Gareth Bale and Harry Kane at times, they’ve never kicked on.

However, all that could change under the stewardship of Ange Postecoglou.

The former Celtic boss has had a huge impact on Tottenham as a whole and going into season number two, there’s an air of excitement.

Of course, that excitement has been helped by the signings of some brilliant young players, while the academy is also starting to produce.

The signing today of Wilson Odobert only adds to this exciting young core and on the whole, the future looks bright for Tottenham.

Young players at heart of a brand new Tottenham

The signing of Odobert is the latest in a line of young players who have arrived and will be expected to drive Spurs on.

Midfielder Lucas Bergvall is another new arrival and Bergvall has made a big impression in pre-season, with Bergvall said to have wowed scouts from across Europe already.

Tottenham have also spent big on Leeds midfielder Archie Gray. The teenager has already been playing a big part in pre-season and like Bergvall, has impressed.

Indeed, Tottenham staff are believed to be gushing over just how good Gray can be, such is his talent.

Those signings, coupled with the emergence of the likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, and Dane Scarlett, mean Tottenham have a core group of youngsters really ready to kick on.

And looking to the future, Tottenham’s starting XI could be quite something.

Of course, you need a bit of experience among the young players as well but luckily, Tottenham have that.

The likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will feel like super experienced campaigners in a few years and they’ll very much be leaders in this team.
