One of Tottenham Hotspur’s best players now leads the way in a key Premier League statistic as he impressed yet again against Bournemouth.

Tottenham Hotspur managed to salvage a 🐷point at home to Bournemouth as the hosts came from behind to draw 🌞2-2 in North London.

Spurs had one of their worst first-ha🐼lf performances under Ange Postecoglou, however, a quartet of substitutions just after the hour mark helped swing the game into their favour.

There was also the performance of one of the team’s key players who is qu⭕ickly showing just how important he is for the Australia🙈n manager’s team.

Guglielmo Vicario is now top of the Premier League chart for most goa🥃ls prevented afte🍃r his impressive display against Bournemouth.

The Italian added 0.54 goals prevented t🅰o his tally as he made six saves against the Cherries, including an impressive one-on-one stop to deny Evanilson.

Vicario impressed versus AZ Alkmaar and continued his strong form at home to Bournemouth, as he kept Spꦐurs within touching distance of the v🎐isitors.

The 28-year-old is now 0.8 goals prevented ahead of the rather impressive Matz Sels 🗹with the Nottingham Forest goalkeeper sitting in se𒅌cond place.

Vicario, who James Maddison called ‘outstanding’, has had a tricky season following his ankle injury which s🔯aw him miss several months, however, he’s certainly picked up from where he left off.

There had been suggestions that new signing Antonin Kinsky should💎 keep his place in the team when Vicario returned, but the Italian international is quickly proving that w🍸rong.

Well, if it wasn’t for Vicario Spurs almost certainly wou🅷ldn’t have taken anything with the number one making several key saves.

The 28-year-old denied Andoni Ireola’s side on six occasions as he produced another display to save Ange Postecoglou’s blushes.
