Report: Tottenham would love to beat Arsenal to another Guardiola regular as well as Gabriel Jesus
Tottenham Hotspur manager, Antonio Conte, would love to sign Manchester City winger, Raheem Sterling, if he’s given the chance this summer.
Sterling is due to enter the final 12 months of his contract at The Etihad this summer. It’s believed City would prefer to keep Sterling around, although there has been strong interest from other clubs. As we know, Arsenal are very keen to bring the England star to The Emirates. However, reports today have suggested Sterling has no interest in moving to a non Champions League club.

But according to , Sterling’s options in north London don’t end with Arsenal. They claim that Tottenham manager Conte would love to see the Manchester City star come to Spurs. The caveat to that report is that Spurs accept that they might not be able to pay Sterling’s wages, while a big transfer fee would also be needed.
Further, Sterling is also said to be carefully assessing his options and could look to move to a club with ambitions of winning a league title. Of course, Conte will try and convince him Spurs are one of those teams, with money set to be spent this summer.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Signing Raheem Sterling Would Be A Game Changer
Yes, Dejan Kulusevski has done well with Spurs. But the thought of putting Sterling alongside Kane and Son in the front three is a mouth watering prospect for Tottenham fans.
Sterling oozes class and has proven beyond doubt he is a world class player with City and England. He brings goals, assists, speed, and experience to the cause. Crucially, he’s still young enough to have his prime ahead of him.
Make no mistake, if Tottenham managed to land Raheem Sterling, it’s a serious signing. And one that would make the rest of Europe sit up and take notice.
