Tottenham will potentially sell £21m forward next summer if the right offer is tabled
Tottenham Hotspur’s summer business has largely centred around the club’s determination to reduce the bloated squad which was left behind by Antonio Conte.
Ange Postecoglou has now had time to bring in some of his own signings over the last 12 months but this summer has seen a considerable number of departures.
For Tottenham, the gap to the top four was minimal last season which could mean a few quality additions could be enough to swing the margin back into their favour.
However, that has not really been done in north London with the Lilywhites having only really seen Archie Gray arrive ahead of the new season.
Having already seen nine players depart the club over the last couple of months, exit number 10 could soon be on the way.
But there is one player who Spurs are already considering selling next summer.

Tottenham ready to sell forward next summer
Postecoglou took a year to take a look at certain players which he took on from Conte and it was quickly made clear who was in his plans.
And this summer, Johan Lange has been at work in finding some of these players new clubs over recent weeks.
Emerson Royal is currently subject of strong interest from AC Milan with talks ongoing to find a resolution over his future.
And then there is the likes of Joe Rodon who got his return to Leeds United with Gray coming in the other direction.
But Spurs have had to settle for some loan exits despite the best efforts of those at the club to find a permanent solution.
According to journalist Mike McGrath, Spurs are now willing to sell Bryan Gil next summer if the right offer was to arrive.
This comes after Tottenham sanctioned his loan exit to Girona over the last week with just one year left on his deal when he returns.
“He’s surplus to requirements and so far he’s been allowed out on loan,” McGrath told the .
“And I think if they got a good price for him, you know, that in in a year’s time, it could be one they look at. So, he’s always struck me that he’s really suited to Spanish football, rather than the Premier League.”
Tottenham must sell Bryan Gil next summer
There was some talk about Gil extending his contract at Spurs ahead of his loan back to his homeland but that does not appear to be the case.
However, the winger – who was also traded for Erik Lamela – has turned out to be one of Tottenham’s worst signings.
In three years as a Spurs player, Gil has been sent out on loan more times (3) than he has returned goal contributions (2).
It is a move which Spurs can only look back on as a huge mistake and fans will be hoping they club have learnt a valuable lesson from it.
