Tottenham, West Ham and Chelsea interested in signing England U20 defender
EXCLUSIVE with Graeme Bailey
There’s a growing trend of English players going abroad to make their name.
Jadon Sancho was the pioneer of this trend during his time at Borussia Dortmund, and the likes of Jude Bellingham, Fikayo Tomori and Angel Gomes have all followed that path.
This is a pathway that is only growing as countless young English players head abroad to make their names before potential returns to the UK.
Going abroad is certainly a great way to make a name for yourself, and now, a whole host of Premier League clubs have their eye on an English defender who is starring in Europe.

Premier League clubs interested in Archie Brown
TBR Football understands that Archie Brown is being targeted for a return to England.
The 22-year-old former Derby County youngster is currently starring for Belgian side Gent.
The left sided defender made his England Under-20 debut in the summer and his progress is being tracked by a host of clubs.
Chelsea are known to be big admirers of Brown and wanted him to join their BlueCo sister club Strasbourg in the summer, whilst Manchester United also checked on him last season.
Chelsea have continued to watch him, but TBR Football can reveal that the interest in Brown is growing.
We can reveal that West Ham, Tottenham, Brentford, Fulham and Leeds have all been watching Brown closely this season.
Brown is contracted to Gent until 2027.
Tottenham’s young defensive options
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in signing Brown, and this would be a very interesting signing for Spurs.
Indeed, Tottenham are building a real cohort of young defensive talent at the moment.

Spurs are future-proofing their backline at the moment with a number of young players who are being tipped for big things.
The addition of Brown would give Spurs a serious stable of young defensive stars for the future.
With West Ham, Brentford, Fulham, Leeds, Manchester United and Chelsea all also keen, there may be a serious race for Brown’s signature, but if Tottenham do get this deal done, they will have a very exciting and balanced roster of young defenders.
