Tottenham want to sign ‘very strong’ Barcelona talent with £341m release clause
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in signing Barcelona youngster Mikayil Faye in the summer transfer window.
Spurs are keeping their eye open on exciting young talents across Europe. They’ve already agreed deals to sign Luka Vušković and Lucas Bergvall. Tottenham’s next young target could be Faye.

Tottenham want to sign Mikayil Faye from Barcelona
Tottenham need strengthening in multiple areas of their pitch this summer, and a new centre-back is expected to be high on their agenda.
Just four days ago, Ange Postecoglou admitted himself that central defence is an area his side will look to bolster before the start of next season.
“If you’re saying ‘is it an area we can strengthen?’, yes it’s an area we will probably look at,” the Aussie said, as per .
Tottenham have been linked with plenty of defenders in recent weeks, but Barcelona’s Mikayil Faye might just be the most exciting of them all.
The 19-year-old Senegalese defender, branded as a ‘very strong’ player by , is yet to make his senior Barcelona debut, but everyone at the club feels he is a humongous talent.
With Barca’s financial issues troubling them, there is a chance they will sell some of their valuable assets, and Faye could be one of them.
That’s according to , who claim that Barcelona know they will get a ‘high price’ if they sell him this summer. Girona, Nice and Lens are all interested in Faye, as are Tottenham.
It would not be wrong to say Spurs can easily blow the other three teams out of the water if they really want to sign Faye this summer.
Faye’s Barcelona contract includes a big release clause
Mikayil Faye is a terrific young central defender, one who Barcelona feel has the ability to become a star in the coming years.
That’s why they handed him a four-year contract when they signed him from NK Kustosija Zagreb last summer. To protect their investment even more, Barcelona inserted a mammoth release clause in his deal.
The report from the Spanish outlet claims that Faye’s release clause stands at a staggering €400 million (£341m).
That, however, has nothing to do with how much he will be worth this summer. If Tottenham really want him, we’re sure they can get him for a fraction of his release clause.
