Tottenham want to sign title-winning striker, just months after he claimed he’s a big Arsenal fan
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move to sign a striker who has publicly claimed that he’s an Arsenal fan.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side made the brave decision of not replacing Harry Kane last summer.
The England captain brought an end to his Tottenham career by agreeing a big-money move to Germany to sign for Bayern Munich.
In the upcoming summer transfer window, Tottenham are expected to recruit a new striker to fill the void up front, and they have now been linked with a move to sign a really exciting centre-forward.

Tottenham eye moves for Victor Boniface and two of his teammates
Tottenham have begun planning for the summer transfer window.
The North London club could do with addictions in multiple areas of the pitch, which is why we expect them to be very active once the window opens.
Tottenham are expected to bring in at least one new player in attack, midfield and defence, and if the latest report is to be believed, they are having a close look at the Bundesliga.
claim this week that Ange Postecoglou has tasked the club’s scouts to watch numerous players in the German top-flight after the success Spurs have had with Micky van de Ven.
As many as seven players in the Bundesliga are on Spurs’ radar now – Dani Olmo, Willian Pacho, Serhou Guirassy, Hugo Larsson and a trio of players from newly crowned champions Bayer Leverkusen: Victor Boniface, Piero Hincapie and Jonathan Tah.
Boniface is the new name to come out of Tottenham’s rumour mill, and the Nigerian striker has had an incredible season under Xabi Alonso.
The 23-year-old has scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists for Leverkusen despite missing nearly three months of football due to an abductor injury.
Boniface is destined to move to a bigger side, and Tottenham fans should be excited that their club are keeping an eye on him ahead of the summer window.
Tottenham fans won’t like what Victor Boniface has said about Arsenal
Tottenham and Arsenal share a fierce rivalry – the two sets of fans in North London just don’t like each other. However, some players who support one of these clubs have played for the other as well.
Spurs have a player in their squad already who used to be an Arsenal fan when he was growing up – Dejan Kulusevski. Harry Kane was once a Gooner too, while Darren Bent still is one.
If they sign Victor Boniface, Tottenham will have another Arsenal fan in their squad. After reports claimed that he supported the Gunners, the Leverkusen star admitted it himself.
While speaking about Granit Xhaka, Boniface said three months ago: “Me, right from my younger days, I have been an Arsenal fan so I understand what you’re saying about Granit!
“Granit has brought experience, maturity, he’s a top professional.
“We have a young squad but with Granit, it’s like we have been playing for a long time because he talks to us and tries to help us a lot.”
