Report: £16m man who dreams of Anfield is now Tottenham’s main summer transfer target
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has already said he wants plans in pla𝐆ce for the summer and it seems Spurs are on their way to trying to pacify their fiery Italian coach alread﷽y.
According to , Tottenham are drawing up a list of defenders to make a move for this summer. And among them is 20🤪-year-old RB Le൩ipzig defender, Josko Gvardiol.
It’s claimed in the report that the likes of Pau Torres and Sven Botman have also been eyed by Spurs. However, it is Gvardiol who is emerging as the top target for Fabio Paratici. Gvardiol, 20, made a £16m move 𝔉to Leipzig and has been impressing ever sinꦡce with his performances.
Interestingly for Tottenham, it is actually Liverpool who Gvardiol admitted he’d like to play for. He told the as much last summer, while he’s also admitted to turning down a move to Leeds.

When you look across Europe at defenders who have all the tools to be ex༺ceptional at the top level, then Josko Gvardiol is a name that crops up.
The Croatian has been excellent with Leipzig and the next natural step is to make a move either to a club like Bayern or Dortmund, or move to England. Tottenham, who need a long-term partner for Cristian Romero, would be ideal 🤪for him.
Spurs might have to pay more than the £16m he went to Leipzig for. But Daniel Levy has promised Conte he’ll back him, so at💎tracting a player like Gvardiol shouldn’t be an 🎶issue.
