Report: Tottenham now want ‘outstanding’ speedster who’s been compared to Gareth Bale
Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the Champions League this weekend and are now keen on signing Europa League winner, Filip Kostic.
The electric winger has had another outstanding season with Eintracht Frankfurt and helped the German club overcome Rangers in the EL Final just last week. Kostic is a man in-demand heading into the summer, and was wanted by Spurs’ rivals Arsenal as recently as January.
But now, according to , it is Tottenham who could now look to sign Kostic. It’s claimed that Spurs want to bring Kostic to North London, albeit they face competition from Italian giants, Juventus.
Kostic, 29, very much fits the bill of experienced and ready-made players for Antonio Conte. The Spurs coach is said to want players ready to compete at the highest level and not simply up and coming youngsters. Kostic enjoyed a fine personal season in Frankfurt, through the campaign.
The Serbian star could well be seen by Conte as a replacement for Sergio Reguilon. The Spaniard has enjoyed a good season with Spurs but multiple sources have suggested recently he could be moved on.

At 29, Kostic is probably ready to give the Premier League a go and if Tottenham can sign him, you do feel he fits in with what Conte wants
Kostic has blistering pace, good energy levels, and a real eye for creativity in the final third. If Reguilon was to go, then having Kostic and Sessegnon as left wing-backs would be good for Tottenham and Conte.
