Report: Tottenham now want to sign versatile South American this summer, £20m could do it for Paratici
Tottenham are among a cluster of teams who are chasing the signing of Racing Club starlet, Carlos Alcaraz, this summer, according to .
claims the 19-year-old Argentinian player is wanted by Spurs, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and more this summer following his good form in South America with Racing. The teenager is capable of playing in a number of positions in midfield or attack if needed.

It’s suggested that Racing do not want to lose Alcaraz. However, it’s also reported how he has a £20m release-clause in his contract, meaning any club in Europe could potentially match that figure.
Spurs are expected to back Antonio Conte in the transfer market this summer. And while Alcaraz might not fit the ready-made profile of player Conte might want for the immediate, Alcaraz clearly has a bright future.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Want Carlos Alcaraz For Good Reason
The South American market can be a gold mine for clubs if they get the right players and Alcaraz looks like a huge talent.
We all know Fabio Paratici has links in Italy. And so far, that has worked out well, with the signings of Romero, Bentancur, and Kulusevski all doing the business in north London so far.
However, South America is a good market for Spurs and Paratici to explore. And if they can beat the host of clubs looking at Alcaraz already, then it will be quite the coup for the club. At just £20m as well, you’d have to say it could be quite the bargain deal.
