Ange Postecoglou is set to lose a couple of key players in midfield next month, with Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma set to head off to AFCON 2024.

Tottenham want Vermeeren
90 Min reports that Vermeeren has ‘admirers’ at Spurs and the North Londoners have been impressed with his performances for Royal Antwerp.
But it’s noted that Vermeeren won’t come cheap, with Arsenal and Barcelona also interested.

The 18-year-old has popped up with six goals and two assists in 31 appearances this term. He was particularly impressive in the Champions League as he netted against Barcelona in the group stages.
Vermeeren has been described as a youngster with ‘’ by none other than former Spurs man Toby Alderweireld.
Of course, Alderweireld currently plays alongside Vermeeren at Antwerp and has clearly been impressed with his compatriot.
The Belgian has a bright future ahead of him and at just 18, he’s already attracting admiring glances from Europe’s top sides.
But it would be a surprise to see Spurs spend big to land the midfielder next month. It’s no secret they will prioritise a move for a new centre-back due to Micky van de Ven’s injury.
While Vermeeren is clearly a talented player, it would take a sizeable fee to lure him away from Belgium in January.
