Tottenham think 21-year-old will soon be a real leader in the dressing room
Tottenham Hotspur are confident that Radu Dragusin will quickly become a leader within the dressing room as he closes in on moving to North London.
Radu Dragusin appears to be on the verge of becoming Spurs’ second signing in the early stages of the January transfer window, following Timo Werner’s arrival on loan.
It is a big statement from Tottenham. Bayern Munich made a late play for Dragusin, and they were even confident of striking a deal at one stage.
Tottenham see Radu Dragusin as a leader in the squad
But it seems that Spurs are very optimistic of completing a deal for the youngster.

Of course, there is an element of risk attached to any move. Dragusin has, so far, made more appearances in Serie B than Serie A in the early stages of his career. And he is still only 21 years of age.
But Tottenham are hopeful that Dragusin will hit the ground running if he completes his switch.

Ange Postecoglou has a long track record for improving players
At this stage, Ange Postecoglou has established a track record for quickly improving players. Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr have been absolutely outstanding this season. Meanwhile, it is remarkable how quickly the likes of Guglielmo Vicario and Micky van de Ven have adapted to the Premier League.
So if Spurs are hopeful that Dragusin can quickly become a leader, that is definitely a very exciting sign ahead of his expected move.
Dragusin only turns 22 in February. So he could theoretically get so much better before he realises his full potential.
Tottenham could possibly have yet another player who could actually prove to be a key man for the side for the next decade, if not longer, if things go well.
