Serge Aurier earning rave reviews for Nottm Forest after Tottenham contract termination
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte will know that time is running out this month to add to his squad.
In just two weeks’ time, the window will slam shut and he could be left with just his current squad to choose from.
Conte has made it clear with his selection policy that he’s not happy with his right wing-back options.
Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have both failed to nail down starting spots in the side.
Conte has switched between them throughout the season, with neither of them really convincing.
New signing Djed Spence has barely featured since his move from Middlesbrough.
The Italian doesn’t appear to trust the young full-back in the Premier League at this time.
Conte may wish he still had Serge Aurier to choose from, who is earning rave reviews in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old was signed on a free transfer by Nottingham Forest in the summer, and has become a staple in Steve Cooper’s side.

The Ivorian international had spent four years at Tottenham, and always enjoyed mixed reviews from fans.
His defending was suspect at times, but he did pop up with the odd important goal.
It’s hard to argue that Tottenham’s right-back options are much better than Aurier right now.
And Nottingham Forest are certainly benefitting from Aurier’s introduction now they’re back in the Premier League.
