Tottenham Takeover: Well placed Dubai sources offer fresh take on Qatari investment
Talk of a potential takeover or investment from Qatar in Tottenham has been grabbing the headlines this week, with Daniel Levy meeting Nasser Al-khalifa.

It’s just that other connected individuals insist that their priority is elsewhere – especially La Liga,” Delaney .
“Spurs have, meanwhile, insisted any investment was not discussed, and there’s also the fact Levy and Al Khalifa are friends, with the latter having multiple reasons to meet with top football people given he is also the president of Paris Saint-Germain, the chairman of the European Club Association and on the Uefa executive committee. This story still has some way to go. What is certain is that Qatar are buoyed by the World Cup.”

Spurs fans consistently ask for more money to be pumped into the club in terms of transfers and wages, so this will please those supporters.
Of course, it remains to be seen if any sort of investment will come. So far, Tottenham have played down talk of investment from QSI. But it can’t be ruled out either, given how the game is going.
For fans, investment will mean more new players. And for the average supporter, that means it’s an exciting time.
Yes, there is more to this and the wider debate on Qatari money is one for another day. But right now, if it means Tottenham compete, most fans would take it with open arms.
