Tottenham supporters react as club reportedly trying to sign Carlos Vinicius
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to get a deal for Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius over the line after the Brazilian caught plenty of attention from admiring onlookers last season with his 24 goals – and Spurs fans have responded.
Vinicius, 25, wowed supporters and the media like with 24 goals during 2019-20 – while also laying on a whopping 13 assists for the Portuguese side. His 37 goals involvements came in just 47 league and cup appearances.
The uncapped Brazilian even scored in last season’s Champions League, netting during a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig – the side that knocked Spurs out of the European competition. Now, Vinicius could be the latest new signing at Spurs.

It will finally see Tottenham add a back-up striker, for the first time since losing Fernando Llorente on a free transfer just over a year ago. Since then, Spurs have had to make do with playing Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min or Steven Bergwijn up front.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that the club are closing in on the loan-to-buy signing of Vinicius, who is tagged as Jose Mourinho’s dream signing. Many are desperate to see him in a Spurs shirt.
