Tottenham supporters react as club linked with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma in a move that would see Spurs form a reunion between Jose Mourinho and the French ace – and Spurs fans have responded on Twitter.
that 25-year-old Zouma is a target for Spurs, with Mourinho passing a shortlist of five players he wants to chairman Daniel Levy. Jan Vertonghen is expected to depart, and Spurs need a central defender.
Way back in 2014, Mourinho paid St. Etienne £13million to sign Zouma at Chelsea. Since then, Zouma has clocked up 104 outings for the west London club – while also rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament and going on loan to Everton and Stoke.
This season, Zouma has clocked up an impressive 33 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea despite competition from the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Fikayo Tomori. last year he was rated at £3omillion.
With plenty of Premier League experience under his belt, Zouma boasts pace, strength and plenty of composure when in possession. Certainly, he has impressed Jermaine Jenas during his Everton loan spell.
