Tottenham star Rodrigo Bentancur was absolutely furious with Everton player during yesterday’s game
Tottenham Hotspur star Rodrigo Bentancur was reportedly furious with Everton defender Nathan Patterson during yesterday’s game.
Rodrigo Bentancur watched on from the sidelines in North London as Tottenham picked up a hard-fought 2-1 win over the Toffees.
The Uruguay star is set to be out until the new year after picking up an ankle injury on his return to the starting XI against Aston Villa last month.
It’s been a frustrating year for the 26-year-old as he missed the remainder of the last campaign after suffering an ACL injury at Leicester City back in February.
But Bentancur was spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday and claims he was far from impressed after he believed Nathan Patterson ‘shoved a Spurs ball boy’.

Bentancur furious with Patterson during Tottenham vs Everton clash
The outlet claims that Bentancur was spotted standing up in the dugout while ‘shouting and pointing’ at Patterson.
It came just after Bentancur felt that the 22-year-old had shoved a Spurs ball boy during the second half.
Alongside Bentancur, even Cristian Romero made his feelings clear after coming off injured.

Everton were slightly unfortunate to be on the wrong end of a 2-1 result yesterday. It looked as if it could be a long afternoon for the Toffees after they fell two goals down inside the opening 20 minutes thanks to goals from Richarlison and Heung-Min Son.
But to their credit, they stuck to the task admirably and were rewarded for their efforts as Andre Gomes grabbed a goal in the 82nd minute.
Tottenham probably have Guglielmo Vicario to thank for the three points after the Italian made a couple of exceptional stops to deny former Spurs man Arnaut Danjuma late in the game.
Nevertheless, it was a crucial win for Spurs and despite the ongoing injury crisis, they sit just four points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Ange Postecoglou will welcome the likes of Bentancur, James Maddison and Micky van de Ven back in the new year.
