Tottenham star Perisic reacts to his FPL price, he’s cheaper than Nketiah
Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic has been making waves in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) because of his bargain price tag.
The new season kicks off tomorrow and FPL players have to get their teams sorted out soon. You’re only allowed three players from one club, and when it comes to Spurs, two of the three picks are obvious ones.
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are a must-have in your team considering how incredible they are. At least one of them is almost guaranteed to score in every game, which makes it a no-brainer to have them in your side.
However, the surprise this season is that Kane and Son aren’t the most-picked Tottenham players in FPL – it’s Perisic!

Perisic sat down for an interview with this week, and the Croatian was told that he was the most-picked Tottenham player in the Fantasy Premier League so far.
Not too surprised, the 33-year-old replied: “Yeah, because I am cheap, no?!
“I don’t follow these things, but my cousin called me directly after the first day and he said to me [about FPL].”
Perisic’s price in FPL for the upcoming campaign is £5.5. He has surprisingly been listed as a defender – probably because he will be used as a left-wing-back this season.
An absolute bargain
If you’re playing FPL this season, you must have Perisic in your team. The 33-year-old, who has been listed as a defender, will surely contribute a lot in attack, which will help you pick up a number of points.
To add to that, he’s available for just £5.5, which is an absolute bargain.
Perisic is cheaper than the likes of Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah and Fabio Vieira, Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell and Conor Gallagher, and even Newcastle United’s Joelinton.
The new Tottenham man is far more accomplished than all of the above players, and it is no surprise that he’s among the most-picked names in FPL so far.
