Tottenham star Jack Clarke and Leeds players react as Bryce Hosannah signs new deal

Bryce Hosannah has put pen to paper on a new Leeds United contract that is due to keep him at Elland Road until the summer of 2022 – prompting reaction from Leeds teammates and a Tottenham Hotspur star.

Hosannah, 21, is currently on loan at Bradford City where he has become one of the first names on the team sheet under Stuart McCall – alongside former Leeds ace Paudie O’Connor. He has clocked up eight outings already.

That impressive start to life with the League Two side, as well as his form for Leeds United’s Under-23 side under both Carlos Corberan and Mark Jackson, has convinced Leeds to take action regarding his contract.

Hosannah was in the final year of his Leeds deal, but the Whites have chosen to extend that by a further year to keep the former Crystal Palace academy product until 2022. Hosannah has posted on Instagram.

His chances of breaking into the first team are certainly positive, but he is up against it. Cody Drameh has impressed in the Under-23 side since joining from Fulham, and is arguably ahead of Hosannah in the pecking order.

£10million () Tottenham star Jack Clarke responded having played alongside Hosannah on numerous occasions with the Leeds reserves. Leeds stars also responded, including Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton.
