Tottenham should keep a close eye on Wan-Bissaka this weekend

Mauricio Pochettino currently has a dilemma about who to play at right-back.

Both Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier are out of form and this has presented Pochettino with a selection headache.

With both of his current right-backs struggling for consistency and making errors, should Spurs look to bring in a new player to freshen things up?

This weekend, Tottenham face Crystal Palace. And it will be the perfect opportunity for Pochettino to watch Aaron Wan-Bissaka firsthand.

The 20-year-old has been one of Crystal Palace’s best players this season despite his young age.

With each game that passes, he improved and he already looks like an accomplished right-back in both his defensive and offensive duties.

Wan-Bissaka has been so impressive that . However, there would be a clearer path to the first-team at Spurs.

The England under-21 international is one of the country’s best young talents and he could be the ideal candidate to replace Trippier and Aurier at Spurs.

This weekend, he faces the tricky challenge of dealing with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela.

If he passes this test, he will surely catch Pochettino’s eye.

Tottenham should definitely monitor his progress, starting this weekend, ahead of a potential January swoop.
