Tottenham set to sign winger who’s faster than Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior after medical passed

Tottenham Hotspur have signed a number of talented young players this summer.

Lucas Bergvall has arrived from Sweden, while Archie Gray has also joined from Leeds United.

Tottenham signed one of the Championship’s brightest young talents in the shape of Gray earlier this summer, and now, they may be about to land another young Championship star.

Tottenham close to signing Wilson Odobert

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham are close to signing Wilson Odobert from Burnley.

Odobert joined Burnley for £10m last summer, and after a decent season in the Premier League, he’s now set to join Tottenham.

According to Tavolieri, Odobert has now done his medical at Spurs and a deal is imminent.

This one has come from out of nowhere, but this isn’t the first time Tottenham have done this type of deal.

Indeed, back in January, Timo Werner signed without much speculation beforehand, so Tottenham can get these deals done without much noise.

Tottenham have been in the market for a young attacker for quite some time now. Antonio Nusa was a solid target in January, but now, it looks as though they will be landing Odobert.

Wilson Odobert could become a star

Wilson Odobert has the attributes to eventually become a star for Tottenham.

He was solid for Burnley last season despite playing in a struggling team.

Odobert needs the right coaching, but the raw attributes are there.

Odobert has incredible pace, he clocked in a top speed of last season, in comparison, according to The Speeds Database, that makes him even .

Tottenham have plenty of depth on the wings, so Odobert may have to bide his time to get into the XI, but at the age of 19, the youngster can afford to be patient and wait for his chance.

Tottenham look to be landing another young potential star.
