Tottenham round-up: £70 million move planned; Fornals linked; Schar targeted

Fiorentina ace wanted

Capable of playing on either flank or through the middle, he may provide the kind of flexibility that Mauricio Pochettino is looking for to complement his squad.

North London derby for Fornals

He could be joined by Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals, according to . However, Spurs are not the only side interested as Napoli and also arch rivals Arsenal have shown an interest.

The 23-year-old has fallen out of favour under coach Javi Calleja in Spain, but has still played in all but one game this season and is highly rated by many.

The club are also preparing themselves for the need to strengthen in defence this summer and say that the club may look to an experienced Premier League option in Newcastle United’s Fabian Schar.

Having joined the Magpies from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer, he has been essential to their recent upturn in form and could be a reasonably priced signing for Pochettino to add depth to his squad.
