Tottenham really want ‘unplayable’ £50m playmaker but he’s more likely to join Man City

Tottenham Hotspur are really interested in signing Eberechi Eze, but a move to another Premier League side is looking more likely for the Crystal Palace star.

Eberechi Eze has been outstanding during his time at Selhurst Park. And the 25-year-old has scored another five goals for the Eagles this season in the Premier League.

Unsurprisingly, he is attracting a lot of attention heading into the summer. Arsenal want Eze. And now it seems that their North London rivals could battle them for his signature.

Unfortunately for Spurs, it appears that they are up against it in the race to sign the former Queens Park Rangers star.

According to The Independent, Manchester City have been monitoring Eze for some time. And thus, a move to the Etihad Stadium is seen as the most likely for the England international.

Coup for Spurs if they can beat Manchester City to his signature

Signing Eze would definitely capture the imagination of Tottenham supporters. He has, unfortunately, had some injury issues in the past few years. But there is absolutely no denying the talent that he has.

When Eze is in full flight, he is ‘unplayable‘. And amid previous claims that he would probably cost at least £50 million, there is no question that he could prove to be an inspired signing for Spurs.

Tottenham have such an exciting group of attacking players. The likes of Heung-min Son, James Maddison and Richarlison have shone at various stages of the campaign.

If they could add Eze to their ranks in the summer transfer window, it would be a real statement of intent.

But clearly, Manchester City are in a strong position to secure his signature.
