Tottenham prodigy described as a ‘street footballer’ named in world’s top youngsters list

Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has been named in of top players born on or after 1 Januarꦫy 2001.

The 18-year-old striker, who has  to Tottenham legend Robbie Keane, is one of the most ♌highly rated youngsters to come through the Spurs academy in recent yearsಌ.

Parrott has been prolific for Tottenham’s age group sides in recent years, and was handed his Spurs senior debut in the League Cup by Mauricio Pochettino 🍸earlier this season, as well as extending his contract at the North London club.

To date, Parrott has💧 four senior appearances for Tottenham – though Jose Mourinho had resisted calls to give him more game time amid Spurs’ crisis up front –💖 and a cap for the Republic of Ireland.

Now, Goal has recognised the teenage sharpshooter’s efforts, progress and further potential by ranking him in 40th place in their ▨ list.

“Ireland have been crying out for an exciting young forward since Robbie Keane retired, and now it seems that o൲ne may have arrived at one of their record scorer’s former clubs,” wrote .

“Eighteen-year-old Troy Parrott, who has already made his international debut𝔍, was handed his first🐎 Tottenham appearance by Jose Mourinho earlier this season before recently committing his future to the north London club until 2023.

“A classic ‘street footballer’ with excellent technique and keen instincts, Parrott൩ has been tipped to “play lots more matches for Ireland and Spurs” byꦐ former club-mate Christian Eriksen.”

TBR View:

Parrott has certainly shown that h🉐e’s a cut above and, though Mourinho is eager not to place too much pressure a♕nd expectation on his shoulders, he’s undoubtedly a player who, with the right tutelage, can go on to great things.

It’s worth remembering that Harry Kane had to bide his time before breaking into the Spurs first team,🦩 with several loans away from N17, and it worked a treat – the same approach should be taken with Parrott.
