Tottenham predicted lineup vs Mura: Dele and Sessegnon start
Dele Alli and Ryan Sessegnon both feature in our predicted lineup as Tottenham Hotspur prepare to face Mura in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
Antonio Conte provided a glimpse of what Spurs could be under his stewardship by inspiring their turnaround in his first Premier League clash at home at the weekend.
Their improvement was remarkable. And Conte will feel that the two halves highlighted where he hopes to take Tottenham in the months to come.
The standards, in terms of work-rate and application, have been set. So an emphatic win over Mura this week looks to be the minimum for Spurs.
Tottenham will not want to fail at the group-stages of the competition, particularly still so soon after Conte’s appointment.
So he may well mirror the home tie with Vitesse and pick a strong team against the Slovenian side.
Hugo Lloris, Emerson Royal, Ben Davies, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min could all start. Meanwhile, Harry Winks may also keep his place after a bright showing against Leeds.
Ideally, Spurs would take a comfortable lead and then be able to rotate ahead of Sunday’s clash with Burnley.

But there may be some changes. Davinson Sanchez, Dele and Sessegnon all came on against Leeds. So it may not be a surprise if the trio all come in.

But Tanguy Ndombele may have to wait for his first start under Conte.
