Tottenham player proved yesterday that one thing will stay the same in Nuno era – TBR View
Heung-Min Son marked his Tottenham return yesterday with a bang in a pre-season win over Colchester United, proving that one thing will remain the same during the new era under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Son starred on Wednesday evening for Spurs during a victory in a friendly match.
The 29-year-old clocked up his first minutes of pre-season by playing the first half, which proved to be very eventful.
He netted in the 11th minute with a simple finish. In addition, he assisted both Lucas Moura and Dele Alli for first-half goals.
Despite the fact he’s only played 45 minutes under new manager Nuno, it looks like he’s going to be a key figure.
The South Korean attacker has been such a vital player at the north London club since joining back in 2015, something which isn’t going to change despite a change of manager.
The left-winger was instrumental during the exciting Mauricio Pochettino reign. Also, he was a go-to figure under ex-boss Jose Mourinho.
He will be looking to continue building his fitness in upcoming pre-season matches with MK Dons and Chelsea.

Son must have been big pull for Tottenham manager Nuno
For Nuno, surely Son was one of the players he was most excited to work with after taking the Spurs job.
He was a nailed-on starter under previous Spurs managers, and surely that will stay exactly the same under the new Portuguese boss.
The forward has definitely altered his game to become even more of a goal threat. He scored 22 goals and made 17 assists last season across all competitions.
It’s going to be intriguing to see if Nuno can keep the Son-Harry Kane combination thriving. They are the two world-class players at his disposal that he needs to build the rest of the team around.
