Tottenham now want to sign a midfielder Zinedine Zidane called ‘exceptional’
Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for new midfield additions.
Archie Gray has already arrived, and while Gray looks like a top prospect, Spurs need more in this area.
The likes of Conor Gallagher have been linked for a little while, but now, it sounds as though Spurs could go for a cheaper option.
Indeed, Tottenham are now reportedly looking at one of the hottest free agents on the market.

The French midfielder has just left Juventus on a free transfer, and Spurs are said to be keen to bring him in.
Rabiot himself is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
With Fabio Paratici said to still be working with Spurs on a consultancy basis, it’s not hard to understand why Tottenham are in this race.
Indeed, Paratici, much like Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur a few years ago, knows Rabiot well from his time at Juventus.
What Zinedine Zidane has said about Adrien Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot is a talent, but don’t just take our word for it.
One of the greatest midfielders of all-time, Zinedine Zidane, has previously called Rabiot ‘exceptional’ after PSG beat Barcelona 4-0 in the Champions League a few years ago.
“They really made a big, big game. It was a great victory for Paris and, if there was perhaps someone to stand out that impressed me, all were impressive, but it is true that Rabiot was exceptional,” .
Of course, Zidane’s praise of Rabiot on this occasion wouldn’t age too well as Barcelona turned PSG over 6-1 in the return leg, but the fact that Rabiot caught Zidane’s eye so much is a testament to his quality.
Rabiot could be just what the doctor ordered at Tottenham, and while there’s bound to be fierce competition for his signature, Spurs could land an incredible signing on a free transfer here.
