Tottenham now interested in signing ‘astonishing’ PL striker who got banned for eight games last year
Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic as a replacement for Harry Kane if he leaves.
That’s according to who listed Mitrovic as one of a few possible replacements should the Spurs captain depart.

Mitrovic, who missed eight Premier League games whilst last season, reportedly has a price tag of around .
The Fulham striker was on a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal earlier in the window but the deal collapsed.
Al Hilal fell short of Fulham’s asking price and failed to stump up more than .
However, with Mitrovic seen as a Harry Kane replacement, Spurs should have the financial muscle to sanction a move should the situation arise.
And whilst Fulham fans will be watching on nervously, a move for Mitrovic must be fairly exciting for Tottenham fans.
Mitrovic had a brilliant goal-scoring record last season before his lengthy ban and had already netted 14 goals in 24 Premier League games.
Tottenham could move for Fulham’s Mitrovic if they do sell Kane
Any move for the 28-year-old would be nothing short of sensational.
Whilst there will be bigger moves with bigger fees across the league, few would provide such a captivating narrative as Mitrovic playing at a top team.

It’s safe to say there’s never a dull game of football when the Serbian striker is playing.
It’s also hard to resist the idea of Mitrovic faring pretty well with the level of Spurs wingers he’d have around him.
Of course Tottenham fans would rather see their captain Harry Kane stay, but this move could be a satisfying alternative.
Fulham’s Mitrovic clearly has his , and concerted Tottenham interest could rock the Fulham boat once again.
Fulham look like they are still braced for interest, they’ve already signed something of a replacement in Raul Jiminez.
And if Harry Kane does leave, this definitely feels like one to watch.
