Tottenham now have a strong interest in signing ‘very tough’ South American player
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Ecuadorian defender, William Pacho, as part of a summer recruitment effort.
Pacho has been hugely impressive since moving to Europe from South America.
He helped Royal Antwerp to success in Belgium and has since moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he has become a key player for the German outfit.
However, his form has not gone unnoticed and according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham are now keeping a close eye on Pacho’s situation in Germany.
Tottenham keeping tabs on William Pacho
According to Tottenham have a ‘strong interest’ in signing 22-year-old Pacho.
The defender is not being looked at in the immediate term by Spurs but is someone the club could look to in the summer months.
According to the journalist, Tottenham have been watching Pacho and he is one to keep an eye on for Spurs fans in the summer.

Despite Tavolieri saying Pacho is Colombian, he is actually from Ecuador and has featured nine times for his country, scoring twice from centre-back in the process.
Website regards Pacho as being a ‘very tough’ defender, who possesses the physical attributes to succeed.
Pacho’s a very tough defender, physically and mentally. At 6’1” tall, Pacho possesses all you want in a defender when talking about physical aptitudes. Mentally, his concentration is one of the keys to his game. He’s careful to cover his back, jump out of his line and make rigorous actions to help his team out from the back.
Tottenham’s window in January has been a successful one in the main.
The club have managed to get deals for Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner over the line. Spurs also nearly signed Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge and have been linked with a move for Ibrahim Osman as well.
However, a late deal for Conor Gallagher is looking increasingly unlikely.
