Tottenham now contacted over signing £15m striker who says he’s been watching videos of Harry Kane

Although Son Heung-min has done a remarkable job, there’s still the feeling that Ange Postecoglou is lacking a striker at Tottenham Hotspur.

In fact, there’s quite a few missing profiles in this Spurs team, such is the infancy of Postecoglou’s project.

And as a result, the January transfer window is now looking like a crucial one.

It shouldn’t be understated just how well Postecoglou has done at Tottenham to date given the Harry Kane transfer saga that dominated the summer.

Although Spurs still conducted their business during the uncertainty, they would have preferred to have the situation sorted at the start of the window.

And as Daniel Levy and Postecoglou prepare for their first ‘normal’ window together, a striker could be on Tottenham’s agenda.

To that description, have now shared information regarding a striker that could be an option in January.

Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy is now taking the Bundesliga by storm, and 90min have reported that the club have now been in contact with Tottenham over a possible move in January.

It would seem that any conversations or interest are still at a very early stage, but 27-year-old Guirassy could certainly be an interesting option.

As well as going two for two in the German domestic cup, Guirassy now has a remarkable 16 goals in 13 Bundesiga matches this season.

And perhaps something that will perk the ears of Tottenham fans, Serhou Guirassy has been studying the success of one Harry Kane – the man he could potentially replace if interest progressed.

The striker spoke to a little while ago and said: “I watch a lot of football on TV and I like to watch players like [Robert] Lewandowski, Kane or [Erling] Haaland and analyse what they are doing.

“You learn from the best and scoring goals is an art.”

All considered, it does seem as if the striker could prove a very smart move for Postecoglou and Tottenham in the near future.

Moreover, as well as looking at a forward, a centre-back is also an obvious priority for Tottenham in January.

And the club have now been dealt some good news with one £40m target now very keen to join.
