Tottenham want to sign ‘amazing midfielder but he’ll now cost £5m more than Tanguy Ndombele

Tottenham are in the market for a number of players this summer but they could have to break their transfer record to land a top target.

After manager Ange Postecoglo🌃u made it clear he wanted new faces this summer, work is ongoing🐼 at the club to bring in new players.

So far, ꦛa number of players have been linked with a move to Spurs, some more concrete than others.

The likes of Chris Fuhrich, Marcus Edwards and Hiroki Ito have all been linked꧂ with a transfer in just the last week alone.

Of course, another player Tottenham would like to sign is England midfielder, Eberchi Eze.

And according to reports, Tottenham have now learnt they𝔉’ll need to pay a club-r🧔ecord fee for Eze.

Eberechi Eze’s release-clause revealed amid Tottenham interest

According to a report from the 🍸, Tottenham will need t🐟o pay a huge fee to get Eze from Palace.

The report claims 🔯that Spurs would need to fork out £60m for Eze, with another £8m due in add-ons as part of that clause.

Tha🦂t sort 𝓀of fee would mean Tottenham spending a club-record figure on a player who has starred in England this season for Palace.

Eze’s form has earned him a place in the England squad for this summer’s Euros and Tottenham could have a decision to make now in case Eze imp🎉resses further and more interest comes in July.

Lauded as an ‘‘ midfielder, Eze to Spurs does indeed look li💯ke it has some legs at least.

Tottenham have spent big money in recent windows but they have ye🍎t to blitz the they spent 🎐on Tanguy Ndombele back in 2019.

As we know, Ndombele has been a flop in terms of performan🎃ces in a Spurs shirt, albeit he did 💜win the league in Turkey this season.

Since then, Spurs have spent big on players like Cristian Romero () and Richarl🌳ison (), while they also splashed out on Eze’s England teammate, James Maddison.

Daniel Levy,✃ then, will spend if the right player is available.

Quite 💖whether 🌼he’ll pay the £68m for Eze, though, remains to be seen.
