Tottenham must not let Arsenal sign Antony after January interest – opinion
Tottenham Hotspur look to be one of the only Premier League heavyweights potentially ready to pass up on the chance to try and sign Arsenal target Antony this summer.
Reports at the weekend claimed that several top-flight sides want the Ajax forward. He has enjoyed a brilliant season with the Eredivisie side, scoring 12 goals and contributing 10 assists in all competitions.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City all want the £38 million-rated Brazilian.
Interestingly, Spurs are not thought to be looking at a potential deal for Antony – but only after showing interest during the January transfer window.

that Tottenham did ask for information about Antony. They have a good relationship with his agent, who also represents Lucas Moura.
However, the arrival of Dejan Kulusevski has seemingly prompted Antonio Conte’s men to put any move for Antony on the back-burner.
Tottenham should still pursue Antony deal as Kulusevski shines
Kulusevski has been a revelation in the Premier League. And, as things stand, it is hard to see Spurs not making his loan move permanent at some stage.
Tottenham have not been made to rue pursuing Kulusevski. But surely, that should not put them off a move for Antony.
Spurs should be in Europe again next year. And they may even have Champions League football to look forward to. So it is imperative that they bring in more depth.
Antony would be an outstanding addition. And he would not cost an outrageous sum. He is a player Erik ten Hag has previously labelled ‘incredible‘.
Tottenham signing Kulusevski permanently and Antony in the same window would be a huge statement of intent – particularly when you think about the teams who want the Ajax star.
So perhaps they should get themselves back in the race, before they watch him head elsewhere.
