Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle says Arsenal have a player who reminds him of Patrick Vieira
Glenn Hoddle has compared one current Arsenal player to Premier League legend Patrick Vieira.
The Gunners extended their lead at the top of the table with an emphatic 5-0 win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium last night.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring very early in the game before a brace each from Kai Havertz and Ben White made it 5-0 for the North Londoners.

He sa🦋id on : “When you let him off the le🔯ash a little bit, he can play like an eight and he can get himself forward.
“When he does w▨in the ball, he’s further up the pitch, he’s in a lethaꦺl position. If you nick it in front of the centre-backs, you’ve still got a base to play, there’s six passes probably.
“But, if you win i♛t in the last third, my word! H♋e has got that little bit of Patrick Vieira run in him, that surge, that drive with the ball.”

Declan Rice can be compared to another Arsenal legend

Glenn Hoddle has compared Declan Rice to Patrick Vieira now, but just last month, Gilberto Silva compared the Englishman to himself.
The Brazilian claimed that Rice follows the same principles as a number six that he used to do wheꦰn he played for the Arsenal Invincibles all those years ago.
Gilberto said: “For me, the principles remain the sꦆame. I still view Declan as a holding midfielder who protects the back four and gives support to the guys up front. It’s the same job I was asked to do.”
