Tottenham, Leeds United and West Ham United all want Robin Koch in reportedly ‘intense’ transfer battle

It seems the battle to sign Freiburg defender Robin Koch is heating up. 

It was reported last month that Tottenham Hotspur had joined the race to sign the German midfielder when the transfer window opens. that the 23-year-old is commanding an £18.5 million transfer valuation. 

Tottenham are not alone. Leeds United are known to be keeping tracks of Koch as a potential recruit should they end up playing Premier League football next season, as reported by the

West Ham are the latest English team linked., the Hammers are keen on bringing in the Freiburg star, who has two caps for the German national team. 

Portuguese website their report on the matter. Benfica are also believed to be keen on the player. The report claims that the Portuguese giants are now expecting an ‘intense’ battle to sign Koch once the transfer window opens. 

Tottenham would undoubtedly like to bring Koch in, as their centre-back position needs improvement and Koch can also play in holding midfield. 

Leeds are in a similar position, with current centre-back Ben White only on loan. 

Clearly it seems any battle to sign Koch in the summer is going to be a tough one to win.
