‘Brilliant deal’: Tottenham fans react as Kieran Trippier departure reportedly edges closer

Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier is set to leave the club for Atletico Madrid, according to 

A medical is set for the England international in the Sꦐpanish capital and a deal is now close.

A fee of around £25 million has b🌟een agreed between the twoꦯ parties.

Trippier struggled for form during the 2018/19 campaign, with Mauricio Pochettino subsequently decid♎ing to offload him.

Bayern Munich, Juventus and Napoli have all shown interest in Trip💃pier during the transfer window,

The 28-year-old had been deemed surplu𝓀s but it does leave the club with a void to fill.

Poch꧋ettino wi𒅌ll now fly to Singapore and Shanghai with Kyle Walker-Peters as the only recognised right-back in his squad.

Trippier will end a four-year association with Tottenham☂. He signed from Burnley for £3.5 million in 2015.

Following news of 🐠an imminent departure, Spurs supporters took to Twitter.

Most are resigned to the facౠt ꦫthat the club could do a lot better, although many concede they do now need a right-back sharpish.

It could be an i꧒nteresting couple of weeks for those of a Tottenham persuasion, with transfer activity likely to increase.
