has claimed that Livramento is on Antonio Conte’s watchlist and that the Italian is even willing to offer up one of Harry Winks or Cameron Carter-Vickers to land him. But that good form has, naturally, led to interest from elsewhere. And it appears Tottenham, who are not sold on Emerson Royal at all, are looking to put their name in the hat to land Livramento.

Still just 19-years-old, Livramento has been a regular for the Saints, making appearances and contributing a goal and an assist in that time.

Tottenham have enjoyed success in recent weeks at right wing-back with Matt Doherty. However, with Royal likely to be sold on already, Conte is clearly keen on strengthening the position further.

And that isn’t being disrespectful to Southampton, it’s just that he is already showing the quality needed to make a move to top six or even top four club.

At just 19, he is a frightening talent really. His pace, power, and ability to get into advanced positions out wide is something that makes him stand out, but he is also sound defensively for a player so young.

Southampton know they have got a special one on their hands here, as do Tottenham it seems. Ultimately, this will come down to the Saints maximising their return on the ex-Chelsea man.
