Report: Tottenham could make 45-cap assist specialist with ‘outstanding qualities’ their first summer signing
Tottenham are keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic ahead of a potential transfer this summer, according to .
Writing for his weekly column, Delaney named Kostic as one of a number of players Tottenham are keen on signing this summer. The Serbian, 29, has been in outstanding form for Frankfurt this season and has an excellent 14 assists to his name.
Kostic has won 45 caps for his country, too, and is seen as a viable alternative to the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Sergio Reguilon at left wing-back for Spurs.

Tottenham are said to be looking at a number of new players ahead of the summer window. Antonio Conte is thought to want upgrades in a number of positions after enjoying success with the January signings of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Kostic, who has in the past by former coach Adi Hutter, would fit the profile of player Conte wants down the left. The Serbian is predominantly an attacking winger, but can comfortably play as a wing-back thanks to his energy levels and willingness to get forward at will.
TBR’s View: Kostic A Quality Player Who’d Do Well With Tottenham
Kostic is the sort of player you sign if your intention is to have your wing-backs flying forward. Defensively, he isn’t the very best option out there. But in terms of attacking play, Kostic is right up there.
Crucially, he’s probably not going to cost a fortune either. Kostic will be entering the final year of his contract this summer and that could mean the door is open for Spurs here.
At 29, he might not get many more chances to play in the Premier League. And that in itself could help Tottenham in their quest to land the left footer.
