Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Vertonghen contract, De Jong competition and Wanyama criticised
Vertonghen deal
Jan Vertonghen sees no problems in extending his contract at Tottenham Hotspur. The centre-back is a key player for Spurs and is currently away on international duty with Belgium.
Unlike his club and country defensive partner Toby Alderweireld, the former Ajax man that he expects Tottenham to extend his contract beyond the summer.
Vertonghen is therefore expected to have his contract extended by the end of the year.

De Jong competition
It seems Tottenham Hotspur have a fight on their hands in their pursuit of Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong.
