Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Six out, Grealish admission and Llorente’s ‘daily struggle’

Injury woes

Tottenham Hotspur with Barcelona in the Champions League this week.

Tottenham had hoped Christian Eriksen would have made his way back into the side, but he has fallen short.

Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, Serge Aurier and Michel Vorm are also unavailable. The Belgian pair both suffered injuries in the weekend win against Huddersfield and will miss the game.

There is, however, a boost with Hugo Lloris returning to action.  

Grealish speaks

He also confirmed he fully expected a deadline day move to Tottenham to transpire.

However, his club held firm and the Tottenham target has now signed a new deal at Villa Park.

Llorente struggles

Fernando Llorente has admitted that it is a ‘daily struggle’ at Tottenham Hotspur as he struggles to play regular football for the club.

the former Swansea striker has spoke of his difficulty playing regular football for the club.

However, he says he does not regret the move and is in a good place in his life.
