Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Real Madrid confident on Eriksen, Andersen wanted and Glover on trial

Eriksen wanted

Real Madrid are apparently confident of signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur. That is according to a

Eriksen is out of contract in 2020 and Tottenham are struggling to secure him to a new deal.

It is believed he is seen as a replacement for Isco and long-term alternative for Luka Modric.

Tottenham Hotspur are however targeting another Dane. Joachim Andersen has recently been linked with a move to North London from Sampdoria.

the Danish star is being considered by Tottenham.

Valued at around £36 million he could be seen as a long-term replacement for Toby Alderweireld, whose future at Spurs is in doubt.

Glover on trial

Young Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Tom Glover. The Australian is going to spend time with the Edinburgh club at their winter training camp in Dubai.

The 21-year-old is considered the fifth-choice keeper at Spurs behind Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga, Michel Vorm and Alfie Whiteman.

He spent part of last season on loan at Central Coast Mariners in his homeland and could spend a similar spell at Easter Road.
