Tottenham Hotspur are in the hunt for Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly,

The Manchester United man has become an outcast under Jose Mourinho recently due to some poor performances at the back.

The report claims that Spurs are interested, along with Arsenal, in the player. He is said to be available for the £30 million United paid to bbring him in from Villarreal.

Stadium date

Tottenham are hoping to pay the first game at their new stadium against Burnley on December 15th.

today that this is the date Spurs have earmarked to finally play their first fixture at the stadium.

The report also claims that supporters have had their membership packs and access cards for the much-delayed stadium sent out. Fans should start receiving these in the coming days.

Jan woes

Jan Vertonghen will be out until January with his hamstring injury. The Belgian picked up the injury during the 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town and was expected to be out until after the international break.

However, it appears that the injury was more serious than originally thought and the 31-year-old is now likely to miss the next two months.

He will miss crucial games against Manchester City and Chelsea during his time out of action.
