Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Andersen linked, Foyth called up and Sarr links

Andersen scouted

Tottenham Hotspur are on the hunt for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen. that the 22-year-old Danish defender is being scouted by the Tottenham staff to see if he is suited for the style in North London.

The talented defender has also been scouted by the likes of Inter, Monaco and Borussia Dortmund after a brilliant start to the new season.

Tottenham have concerns regarding the long-term future of Belgian pair Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

Foyth called

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has received his first call-up to the Argentina senior team.

The talented centre-back, who has impressed since arriving from Estudiantes last summer, was a surprise submission as Argentina try out several new faces after their disappointing World Cup campaign.

Sarr wanted

Tottenham are looking into the signature of Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr. the North London club are believed to be keen on the player, who has also been linked with rivals Arsenal.

The rapid attacker has been in fine form so far this season and Tottenham are said to be keeping tabs on the player.
