Tottenham Hotspur round-up: De Jong wanted by Real Madrid, Alderweireld happy and Chilwell targeted

Tottenham Hotspur will not only have to battle Barcelona for Ajax youngster Frenkie de Jong, according to reports.
Real Madrid are also keen on the £45 million Dutch international.
Spurs and Barcelona have been linked with a January interest throughout the past week. However, Real are also keen as they start to consider refreshing their squad.
the Dutchman would be very happy to move to the Bernabeu, where he is being earmarked as a potential successor to Toni Kroos or Luka Modric.

Toby happy
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld insists he is very happy to have remained at Spurs this summer. The Belgian is locked in a contract standstill with the club at present, which saw him linked with a move to Manchester United among others.
But he insists he was never near to leaving the club and is happy to have won his place back in the starting XI.
Chilwell targeted
