Tottenham Hotspur should not be afraid to replace Erik Lamela with Bernard
It is common knowledge that Tottenham Hotspur like to bring in a bargain. Daniel Levy is a hard barg🍌ain master and Spurs are always on the lookout to bring in the top talent at the best possible price. So should they be in the hunt for Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Bernard?
The attacker, who can play at left-wing or in the centre, has been in fine 🌞form for the Ukrainian side this season. In the Champions League he has been particularly impressive, scoring a brilliant goal against Manchester City in the group stages.
The 25-year🅰-old is out of contract in the summer and looks set to end his impressive career in Ukraine.

Bernard would be a brilliant addition to the Tottenham fold. With rumours about the future of Erik Lamela it would be prudent to look at potential replacements. Bernard could be the perfect option. His introduction would also go some way to help 𝓀£25 million new signing and countryman Lucas Moura settle in North London.
The diminutive forward 🦂has of course b♏een linked with Tottenham in the past.
In the summer of 2013 Tottenham were being heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian star, when he was at former clဣub Atletico Mineiro.
In the summer of 2014, he told that the English club were not prepared to pay the £21.5 million for his services upfront – unlike 🐻Shakhtar.

Now Tottenham have a chance to bring in the p🦩layer, who they once considered as a potential Gareth Bale replacement, on a free this summer.
Bernard would be a brilliant Tottenham signing and could even be considered an upgrade on Lamela. Hiꦫs injury record has been a major concern for Tottenham and Bernard has not had a major injury absence since 2015 when he suffered ankle ligament damage.
Tottenham should undoubtedly be giving some serious thought 🌊about renewing interest in Bernard 🌳this summer. Cheap, talented and young – it is the Tottenham motto and in this case it could prove fruitful.
