Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Dani Alves discusses his future
Tottenham Hotspur are now being linked with a move for Brazilian full-back Dani Alves. It is in Spain that Spurs are considering a deal for the free agent. The report suggests that Tottenham have been in touch with the Brazilian’s entourage regarding a potential move to North London. Arsenal and Manchester City are also said to be keen.
The player himself has now spoken about his future options He made it clear that whoever does manage to bring him in this summer will be signing a ‘champion’.
“I have many things to conquer in football and with that spirit I go anywhere. The only thing I can say is that the one who hired me will have a champion.”
That is an undoubted fact. Alves has had an illustrious career as one of the best right-backs of the past decade. Alves has won silverware with Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus and PSG, including three Champions League titles during his time at the Nou Camp.

He is perhaps the sort of player Tottenham have been missing over the years. But Alves simply does not fit the profile of a player Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino or chairman Daniel Levy would usually sign.
The 115-cap star is 36-years-old and would cost a fortune in wages. So it would be a shock move from Tottenham.
Here is how some Tottenham fans have reacted to a potential deal for Alves to join Tottenham…
