Tottenham Hotspur fans react as club linked with Ferran Torres deal
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Spanish winger Ferran Torres this week. , suggests that Spurs are interested in the Valencia winger along with Borussia Dortmund.
The report suggests he is valued at around €20 million (£17.3 million), which would be a bargain for a player of his talents.
The youngster, who helped Spain win the European Under-19 Championship for the 11th time in July, has been a regular for Los Che this season, playing 11 times and is slowly becoming a much-discussed talent.
Tottenham fans, however, have had a mixed reaction to this news.
Nobody seems to be doubting the player’s talent. However, fans are certainly not of the belief that Tottenham need another winger.
With Jack Clarke, another summer signing, currently out on loan at Leeds United, the club already has a hot prospect in the same position.
Meanwhile, Spurs are crying out for full-backs, an area of the team where they are incredibly weak.
As for the apparent £17.3m valuation? Tottenham fans are not buying that either.
