Alasdair Gold says Spurs have a ‘really good’ 20-year-old in their ranks, Antonio Conte’s never played him
Alasdair Gold has described Tottenham Hotspur talent Harvey White as a “really good” young player.
The football.london correspondent also reckons the Spurs academy graduate would benefit from another loan move.
White is a central midfielder who can also fill in at left-back and centre-half.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a successful rise through the Spurs ranks and is now in and around the first team.
White was also a regular in Jose Mourinho’s training sessions and spent time on loan at Portsmouth last year.
He has two senior Tottenham appearances to his name, .
“He is a quality player”
“I’ve been pleased with what he’s done and been very impressed by him,” former Pompey boss Kenny Jackett told .
“I’m sure he will keep pushing hard and when he gets his chance, because he’s getting substitute appearances at the minute.
“He will take some shifting because I do feel he is a quality player.”
This season, White has made numerous matchday squads, including six of Tottenham’s last seven Premier League squads.
However, he’s yet to get any senior game time this term, though he’s impressing for the Under-23s.
This week, Gold took part in an Ask Me Anything session on , with Spurs fans asking plenty of questions.
One fan asked him whether he felt White had a future at Tottenham, given his lack of game time this term.
“He’s a really good young player,” replied Gold.
“He’s had plenty of involvement in and around the first team matchday squads this season which is great for him.
“But I think he’d benefit more from another loan.”
In 2020, White penned a contract which takes him to the summer of 2024.
He’s still got plenty of time to develop and potentially stake a claim for a spot in the Spurs first team.
At the same time, a loan move to a Championship team would do him a lot of good too.
